The 4-inch matches are a nice upgrade from the standard ones you get at the store—they burn long enough to actually get the candle going without rushing. The Mayapple illustration is even more charming in person, and it feels like a small piece of art I'm happy to keep on the shelf.
The Mayapple artwork on this box is gorgeous enough to leave out on the coffee table, and the matches inside are impressively hefty. I lit a candle with one and it burned steadily for a good while before I even got to the wick.
These 4-inch matches are seriously long, which makes lighting a candle or the grill way easier without burning your fingers. The jumbo box feels substantial and the Mayapple artwork is even prettier in person than on screen.
